Cédric Jullion
Flute
Cedric Jullion was born in the Parisian suburb (France) and followed his first musical studies with Françoise Gyps and Ida Ribera. Then, he entered the National Conservatory of Lyon (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon) in Maxence Larrieu's and Philippe Bernold's classes. He obtained two higher certifications (DNESM - Mention TB and upper certificate of contemporary music) and followed the degree course at the National Conservatory of Paris where he obtained a vocational aptitude certificate for teaching the flute. He followed training courses and master-classes with Patrick Gallois and Robert Aitken too.
After being hired by ensembles of contemporary music such as the Ensemble InterContemporain and the ensemble Court-Circuit, he joined the Ensemble Cairn and the chamber music group for contemporary music L'Instant Donné, which both are based near Paris. For ten years, the activity of these ensembles has brought him to the most important european festivals (Festival d'automne Paris, Musica Strasbourg, Manchester International Festival, Archipel Geneva, Haendel Festival and Impuls Halle, Darmstadt Ferienkursen, ...) and some famous foreign festivals on other continents (Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, South Africa).
As a teacher, he's leading artistic education in two departmental conservatories in the suburbs of Paris.
